EDMONTON – On June 20, 2024, the Alberta Chambers of Commerce (ACC) hosted the 33rd annual Alberta Business Awards of Distinction (ABAD) at the Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel. These prestigious awards celebrate the significant contributions of entrepreneurs and organizations to the economic vitality of the province.
ABAD 2024, marking a record-breaking year for nominations, brought together industry leaders and distinguished guests to honour recipients across thirteen award categories. Alberta's Best of Business Award of Distinction is presented to a standout finalist chosen from all categories, this year being awarded to The Driving Force Group of Companies, headquartered in Edmonton.
Lori Ann Muenzer, Olympic gold medalist and business results and mindset coach, added her unique charm to the evening as the 2024 ABAD ceremony emcee. Interviews with award recipients and finalists will soon be featured on ACC's YouTube channel, conducted by Catherine Bangel with Bangel PR.
Shauna Feth, ACC President and CEO, extended her congratulations to the 2024 ABAD recipients and finalists: "Your exemplary achievements significantly contribute to driving Alberta’s economy forward, enriching communities throughout the province."
"These awards acknowledge the ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit of Alberta's business leaders, as well as the teams and people across these organizations. Recognition goes a long way to building a culture of success, and that's what these awards support."
